hybrid's V4 500 Project

Overview

Eventually, it is hoped that this webpage will be an information source, and a guide for building MY idea of the best possible street 500 2 stroker with a reasonable budget.

This project is not for the faint hearted. If you have no mechanical skills at all, consider having the basic frame built by somebody who really knows what they are doing, such as Nigel Kimber Racing in the UK - htp://www.nkracing.co.uk. Nigel is a great bloke, and has already done a similar project much better than I could dream of doing it.

Engine	Yamaha RZ500 V4 500cc 2 Stroke, Fully Rebuilt - Mick Abbey (UK) tuned barrels, RZ350 Reed Blocks, modified head (cc/squish)
Induction	Throttle Body Fuel Injection via Microsquirt
Ignition	Programmable Ignition mapping via Microsquirt, Dual channel CDI by Zeeltronic
Exhaust	Modified Nikkon GP
Brakes	Front: 320mm Brembo Rotors with GSXR750 4 Pot \| Rear: Custom Stainless disc with TZR250 3XV Caliper
